How will micro-needling help?
Micro-needling also known as collagen induction therapy (CIT) is a new breakthrough for treating alopecia and hair loss in both male and female. Tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries in the scalp to stimulate the production of proteins that are responsible for the development of new hair follicles thus covering up bald areas.Together with micro-needling we can also use Platelet Rich Plasma either alone or with A-Cell to get better long lasting results
Will you use anesthesia?
Anesthesia is not required for this treatment but we can use topical anesthesia if patient is extremely sensitive to pain.
How many sessions are required?
Usually, 3 sessions are required with a gap of 3 weeks in between each session. Results will be noticeable after the 3rd session. Additional sessions may be required according to the intensity of alopecia.
